He then bought the Shook ranch north of FM 3252, then he bought the Risinger ranch to the north of the Shook

I think J.R Hamilton bought the Risinger, or atleast part of it about 2 years ago. The part that is on "el indio highway" outside of Carrizo.

Hixson leased a lot of acreage to the south. That’s where the 40k comes from. The whole enchilada is for sale.

My guess is way more than a million. Management and maintenance cost add up quick. Not sure how much the income offsets it.
