No Trucks in Left Lane Signs?

Are those “No Trucks in Left Lane” signs legally enforceable? They are largely ignored on I-35 through the Austin area.

Perhaps in the spirit of the city they are 18-wheelers who identify as a Honda Civics.

I’m pretty sure those are ignored everywhere.

They are legally enforceable up to the point of handcuffs and a trip to the county jail.

With the amount of calls that the police make, it is simply low on the priority list.

Why, does it make your dreams of being a cop seem real?

Being a cop, lmao. I would be at shipleys, not on the freeway. I do it in my big rig, not my personal ride. It's crazy how much of a hurry people are in all the time.

That is not correct. You generally can’t be arrested for speeding if you agree to sign the citation.

I have arrested people for license plate light out, fail to dim bright lights to oncoming traffic, improper use of horn, etc. But not speeding…..
