Slide on vs strap on quiver for recurve

Gonna have one or the other. Once I figured out how to keep it quiet it's been good on my longbow. Want one for my Mamba. Thought about a Selway Grayling.

Really don't like either, but if I had to choose - Strap.

I despise slide on. Can't get them close enough to center.
At least with a strap on, you can strap it around the meat of the riser.

I much MUCH prefer bolt on, and I've installed the inserts for them on many bows when they didn't have them. It ain't hard, and well worth every bit of it.

I’m running Selway grayling slide ons on 2 of my bows. Periodically I’ll have to push em down on the fade outs if they move a bit, besides that, they are quiet. I love em.
If Im not running Selway Im running the GN.

Heads up, they’re cheaper buying directly from Selway and they give ya free swag…..

Great Northern for me! Quick Detach model for 3pc bows. Strap on for one pc bows. 99% of the time, the quiver comes off once I’m situated, so a slide on won’t work for me.

I ended up wrapping some high voltage rubber tape on the limbs and and strapping the one I have on that so it wouldn't slide. I'm anticipating doing something like that regardless.

I ended up with a tunderhorn strap on quiver for my new primal tech.

Strap on for me. Much easier to move from one bow to another.

Moving between bows is not the concernn. Staying in place on the one it's on is.

Have both and prefer the strap on. I feel it hugs my limbs better but cant go wrong with either.
