Them deer gonna be hunkered down under a cedar or somewhere out of the wind for most of the time. They will get up and move but for short periods but not for very far. Before the front hits and after it lifts would be best time to hunt. Deer haven't seen extreme cold temps like the one coming and they are no more used to it than we humans are. They gonna be trying to stay warm as possible by bedding down and being less exposed. If you do see one it's gonna look big and fat being all fuzzed up and all.
Man, with the cold front dropping temps, the new moon, and pressures as high as 30.7, I bet the deer are going to be MOVING on Friday.
Out this morning, I saw more deer then I have in months, probably close to 30 when I typically see 5 or so. I figured none would be out by Friday morning.
I called in a vacation day for Friday! Not gonna be one sticking up a tree in those temps. It'll be brush blinds and warmup walks to new spots all day for this guy!
