You guys looking for a weekend to take the wife should consider this place. Simmsboro La. its called Creekwood Estates. Private cabins, large gardens with greenhouse, couple ponds to fish in. Very relaxing place

Livin the dream and deserving every second of it! I like the looks of that place!

Well been a while. Had to take a break and take care of business and visit family. Did go fish with Doug and ran the boat. We are in Mexico now for at least 2 weeks.

Didnt catch anything big. Lots of small dorado and bonita but i knew wrong time of year going out. Plan on swimming with whale sharks and a few other things. I may go fish with a commercial guy hand lining bottom fish later next week.

Good thing was once we kinda knew what we were catching I asked if we could put the 30s up and match the tackle with fish. It was fun. Ran a couple 20s and two egg beaters. Ate fresh ceviche and learned some things rigging ill use later
