Sorry for the late up date.

Not enough service to update this morning.

We came out to hang a few South Wind sets for tomorrow and grabbed a bite to eat.

Bout to head back in on same property we hunted this morning so I won’t have service again.

I’ll update after dark.

Had a great evening hunt. All together we saw 6 different bucks and 8 does. Dear moved steady from 2:00 til dark.

A SW wind will have us hunting a different property tomorrow over cut corn and standing beans. And I should have better service so I can update on real time.

I’ll post pics of my set when I get back to camp.

This was my set from today.
Beautiful creek bottom on the edge of an Alfalfa field.
3 big draws that come together at a small pond creates a nice funnel for deer travel.

Settled in with plenty of phone service for the live hunt.
Was killing me yesterday that I could t update.

We are on a new property with standing beans and cut corn.
I’m hunting between standing beans and a big pond. There is a hundred yard strip of woods about a 1/16 mile long between the beans and pond. Makes a great funnel for anything traveling East & West.


Already got 2 does feeding in the beans.

Kade is on the edge of a cut corn field and big timber.
Lots of scrapes and rubs down the timber line.

Should be a great morning.
It’s 20 deg with 5 mph SE Wind.

No deer sightings for Kade yet.

Ducks and geese are hitting the water to my South.
Acorn and leaves are steadily hitting the ground.

It’s cold, but it’s a beautiful morning to be in the woods!
