Nice project. The wife mentioned doing something similar this past weekend so I’ll be following.

Just a look at the floor we are going with. Cabinets will be painted.

May go with ceiling tiles on the ceiling I’m replacing.

Same, I remember the smell of ours as a kid and I was very young!

Ran the ac for 8 hrs with no drainage issues.
              Started on the floor.

AC is a great thing, at least for this fat guy!

For this guy too. It’s a necessity. Good thing about pop ups is that AC will get COLD

Still gotta trim out floor. Going to paint all cabinets to brighten it up.

Not sure why pics are big. I'm choosing "small" in Tapatalk.

One other thing we added to ours, we cut out reflective bubble wrap and put it in the screened windows to keep out some of the heat and keep some light out...Here is a link to it.

                          Reflectix:

Took it out to Lake Bonham to get away. Works great. Going to fab up an adapter at work that will fit in a drill motor to raise and lower. And regular RV scissor jacks in the corners.

And definitely reupholster the kitchen table cushions. Structurally, everything is sound, which you never know until you start digging.
