      Nothing better than catching free water. We have an overflow system hooked up to a trough below the polly tank. Happy camper when I see water in there.

        I like the gutter idea but the closest structure to this one is about 1/ mile away. As soon as I redo the roof on the cabin I will use them to help fill the one at the house.

        I am going to try the copper gig thou.

          My setup. I use a sump pump and hose, ran off an inverter hooked up to my truck battery. I pump water into big holding tank from water tote. It’s time consuming, but it’s all I got. 1,000 gallons last about 4 weeks, but I’m in Deep South Texas and it gets really hot.
