Have you tried doing one with antler yet? Little tricky but very satisfying to have one from an animal you killed.

The top pen has been sold ($40) and yes I have many more.
The lathe I use is a Nova Comet II.

I have tried some old euro mount antlers and could not get a piece straight enough to drill out for the barrel. I have a guy at work that is supposed to bring me some axis horns to try out.

It's got to be the right peice for it to work. I ruin about half of what I try to drill doing it. Sure is nice when it works though!

I looked at your FB page and you have some nice work. Send me a PM if you need some wood blanks. I know of an older gentleman who is getting rid of all his very cheap. I already bought more than I will ever need from him. I'll share the info.
