Default Giving to the neighbors

Iíve contributed a little bit of meat from my freezer to a few of the neighbors over the years. Nothing crazy. A few packages of burger here, a roast there, some sausage links for get togethers. I just had a newer neighbor stop me and ask me for 30lbs of backstrap so he could BBQ for his entire extended family for some get together. Then acted like I was rude for laughing.

People that donít know, really donít know.

How many Texas deer would you need for 30 lbs of backstrap. lol...

I've never had anyone flat out ask, seems kinda forward. I'm pretty careful whom I offer to as well, heard of too many people take it and then don't use it or throw it out because they don't like it.

You should have said, "I hunt deer, not brontosaurus".

He would have just cooked it at 350 for 8 hours anyway and served everyone shoe leather.

Freezer burnt **** for the win….literally ****, not meat.

My neighbor asked me for backstrap and tenderloins on an axis last week…I told him that’s like me asking to take his wife home, he asked me again for the meat.
