Who is the best custom Glock gunsmith in the US?

I’ve got my favorite 700 and revolver gunsmiths, but if a man wanted a truly top of the line complete custom Glock, who is the best of the best smith in the US?

What is it you’re trying to get done to it?

Salient Arms makes some pretty high dollar Glocks, as does Zev.

But as far as milling, laser etching, grip stippling, there are a bunch that do it all just as well as the other.

I will say. I’ve shot several of these high dollar Glocks.

They’re still just Glocks with cool looking stuff and different triggers. Not worth the price of admission in my opinion.

Just get an optics cut and after market barrel. Optics cut is 100% worth it.

Yes he is (still a glock)

Cept the optics crap, put a white dot in the middle of the slide back plate and kill your enemy

Put a good trigger in it and do the optics cut if you want it. Take the rest of the money you would waste on the other crap and buy ammo and a good dot (if applicable).

Or just sell the Glock and buy a Dan Wesson.

I only paid for the grip reduction work and Cerakote on the slide. Did everything else myself. Glocks are very simple guns.

Agree with ClayC. I got more than I should in my last one and still have factory trigger. And I realize I'll probably never get that out of it.

I’m a master armorer through Glock and have customized plenty in the past. I do realize what a Glock is and is capable of.

Asking for a potential business gift. Would need a turn-key service complete with FFL transfer.

Why not send slide and frame off and swap out parts out yourself.

Me personally that would mean more than having someone else do the whole thing

I actually really dislike the sloped dust cover. I had one with a full dust cover but it didn’t have an optic cut so I sold it to buy this one with the optic cut.

I sent my slide to Battlewerx, they did an awesome job on the RMR cut. Ordered a semi fit barrel from Bar-Sto and fit it myself. this gun is a shooter!

I just had a 45 done by a place local 'slideworks' out of tomball. Had them cut and trim the slide and laser stipple. It was actually cheaper for me to buy a plain 45 and have them it cut for RMR than buy MOS since I wanted a different color and extra slidework anyway

I done that twice. I spent a week melting,forming and polishing a 19 frame. This laser stipple stuff is nice and was like 130 bucks. Wayyy cheaper than my hourly rate
