What's your favorite hunting product you use? Aside from your weapons. What binos, scent killer, camo clothing, pack, broadhead... What hunting product do you use most frequently with the most confidence

That's a good question. I don't really have a lots of favorites. Knives are knives, guns are guns, binos are binos, cam is camo; I use a bunch of different things with no real loyalty to any of it. For a different answer than most, and for sentimental and practical purposes, I have apparently grown accustomed to one leather rifle sling my dad mad me back in the early 90's. I found myself without it last week in the west Texas Mountains and was not happy. Found a replacement, but just wasn't the same.
Other than that, I have a short tripod on wheels that also serves as a game cart that is very handy; easy and fast to take down/put up. |

I live and die by the headlamp - doesn’t matter what hunting I’m doing - a good one is ALWAYS with me.

Favorite? Wool clothing. Hides my smell very well after 5 days chasing elk. Absolutely blows my mind what magical power wool has that other fibers don't.
Most frequently with most confidence? GoHunt. |

Cuddelink system. I can't tell you how well this system has helped my hone in on deer that needed to be harvested. It has saved me from a bunch of unproductive hunts in a year where we had to take a lot of deer.

Thermocell definitely. I really like my Havolon but if I loose it I can always use another knife but if I loose the Thermocell there’s no substitute.

Lone wolf has probably changed my hunting more in the past years than other product.
Closely followed by my scentlok clothes, not in the aspect that they work, but in their function and layering capabilities to withstand elements I would have quit in before. And in a price point that works for me. (I know there are far better… just not where I choice my budget to go) All other equipment… is personal preference really. I could kill an animal with any modern manufactured equipment |

Cell Cameras - Watching the game cams each and every day is really an eye opener. You can pick up on a lot more habits and activity when you are watching them each day as things happen.
Layering System - I remember when I had a dang closet full of hunting clothes with a different jacket for each temp. Now I have one laying system that goes on each hunt in one tote. Bog Death Grip - If you gun or crossbow hunt this thing is a game changer. Rock solid and it will hold your gun or crossbow up without you needing to touch it until you're ready to shoot. |

My favorite item is my phoneskope.com and for a couple of reasons.
1. I can connect it to my spotting scope or binoculars 2. All my pictures and video are right there on my phone 3. the zoom capabilities can double whatever my spotting scope or bino's will do. For me it is a way better option than a video camera |

I wouldn't say they're specifically hunting, but good quality wool socks for appropriate temps and a quality headlamp with several colors and a spot and flood light setting.
