Default AR magazines

Just picked up a BNIB Radical arms upper for the AR. I originally built the rifle in 6.5 G so now I need some 5.56 mags. Lots to choose from, What brands do I need to stay away from?

You can't go wrong with either Magpul or Lancer, both have a proven record. Stay away from Promag for any gun unless you like feeding issues.

Here you go OP. Price changes once you add them to your cart.

Also here. This is a great deal. Ordered some Friday and got them Saturday. Surplus mags all new in wrapper. Out of stock right now, but says they are expecting another shipment soon.

The OKay, Sure Feed and other Gov't contract aluminum mags are always good. The PMags seem to be the best of the polymer. But it does not hurt to get an assortment of other brands.

I personally prefer 20 round mags just for the short length. I've had good luck with cmmg, and amend2
