    3” or 4” conceal carry

    Anybody have a problem carrying a 4” ??
I currently carry a 3” but wouldn’t mind having that extra barrel length of a 4”
    Better site plain, recoil, etc.
Just wondering how much harder to conceal a 4”

    Thanks

Everybody is different…try it and see. I carried a 5” 1911 for years without complaint.

I carried my Gen 4 Glock 19 before I traded it off for my current 20. I actually CC’d that one for a week or so until I bought my current carry pistol, a G29.

      A 4” is definitely doable.

Longer barrel is easier to conceal than longer grip. If your holster is set up correctly you’ll never notice the longer slide length.

I'm partial to 3" as I pocket carry frequently.

I carry a Rock Island ultra mid size 1911. It has a 4.25” barrel. No issues. I carry it owb in a versa carry arch angel holster

                I carry a G17 appendix with a "minimal" holster (Raven Vanguard) .
I can leave it in place, even when sitting. The beavertail does dig in a little, but it doesn't bother me too bad.
I do sometimes take it out if I have a long drive.
