I have always had Verizon because it seemed to be the best pretty much everywhere. Worked there for a long time.
They always said AT&T was #2. Now I know a lot of Verizon employees are switching to T-Mobile and saying it is just as good or better than Verizon. Any truth to that? If it really is that good I would consider switching in the future. Just curious your thoughts Rick |

I had sprint for a long time, then switches to AT&T. Kept that crap for 1 year and dropped them when the contract was up. Been with Verizon several years now and don’t really have any issues with them.
T mobile was always terrible service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Had Verizon for about 15 years, and my wife was with Sprint for close to the same amount of time. We switched to AT&T last year and pay less than $100 a month for both lines (unlimited data) and 2 IPhone 13 Pro Max’s. We have been happy with AT&T so far. Haven’t noticed much difference in coverage other than I get much better signal on Lake Sam Rayburn with AT&T.

I run Cricket. They are owned by AT&T. And use AT&T towers. $35 month with unlimited T&T, and 10 gigs data. I originally signed on with 2 gigs data. But they kept giving me 2 here and 2 there, for free. I'm lucky to use 1 gig per month. I've never been dropped or any other probs with the service.

I’ve been with Verizon over 25 years. AT&T sucks where I live.
My issue is Verizon cost me $125 a month right now. I know I can go with other carriers for much less. Companies don’t care one bit about customer loyalty. I want to change to another but I don’t know who will and won’t work where I need it to |

T-Mobile is trash but it’s cheap. Won’t work outside the city at all if you can even get signal in the city

I think you have to shop around every few years just like insurance. When we moved four years ago we had ATT. They would frequently have outages on the towers that served our area and seemed to have no urgency to repair. Switched to Verizon for a better deal and new phones. Now ATT has upgraded their service so back to ATT to benefit from a new phone offer.

I've had AT&T since early 2000's and never had an issue with them in the areas I frequent the most. But I think it really depends on where you live and who has the best coverage of that area.

I switched from AT&T to Total Wireless and 5 years ago. It works good for me. I pay $65 for 2 lines unlimited talk/text, 30 GB data. Hardly ever go over the data limit. It is powered by Verizon.

We have had att from the beginning of cell phones. The only reason is for us it works best in these deep pine woods I live in. But that being said the last 3 or 4 years the wireless service has gotten worse.

I had Verizon until about 2007 and then I switched to AT&T when I was working in an area that Verizon wouldn't work good. I had AT&T until a few years ago when I swapped to FirstNet. My wife and kids still use AT&T.

It has been a couple of years but when I hunted in a few places in south Texas, if you did not have AT&T, you were not going to make a phone call. I hunted with friends that purchased an AT&T flip phone with minutes just so they could be in contact while hunting. I had a very close friend that I was on a lease with for several years in east Texas and I could get a signal all day on my AT&T phone and his Verizon phone was virtually useless. But….. you could flip the names and make the same statement about other areas. My Verizon phone never dropped a call but my AT&T (or any other carrier) almost never worked. I depends on the locations you frequent. |

Think it depends on where you live. I had AT&T for years in Houston but moving just a little ways south to League City, Verizon was the best. If you are in the hill country, AT&T is probably going to work when nothing else will. Ask locals in the area you plan to use it. If a nationwide plan fits, check AT&T even if you don't like them.

We always hit up all the carriers when we are looking into changing and they will all give us a phone for a few days to try while we travel around where we work. Then we pick the best for the areas we travel

I’m leaning towards AT&T. With military discount and auto withdrawal I think it’s basically the same price as T-Mobile. Might depend on the promotion when the new iPhones come out

I was an AT&T customer for a lot of years but back in January we switched everything to Xfinity mobile
They use AT&T and Verizon towers $175 per month for unlimited talk, text, and data for 5 lines……$35 per line. The more lines you have, the cost per is less. For example I think 1 line is $55 per month The only catch is you have to already have some type of Xfinity service, ie…cable, internet, home security, etc Zero issues with service so far |

We live in the middle of nowhere Iowa. US Cellular is the only option in rural Midwest areas. I still have to use a WeBoost cell booster inside our metal barndominium house/shop. I have spotty service outdoors depending on where I am standing. The red star is our house. The good news is we see the post lady, the school bus, a couple of tractors and a couple of cars or trucks a day.

Cant say it will work for everyone but we switched to T-Mobile. I activated and old phone and tested it out for a couple weeks. Then moved my number over for a couple weeks to do more experimenting. Works great so far. Mostly in Kansas City but went to central Ks. And it worked just fine there and all the way back. Moved the rest of the family over.
I think it is so much better because they bought sprint. Rick |
