    are there any pulick hunting in the west texas area?

    west texas is a big area. where are you at there is almost nothing in the panhadle except just north of lubbock but their are a bunch of them their. no big game allowed though just birds and rabits and such

      Contrary to what alot will tell you there is public land out west, people just keep quiet because they don't want it to be crowded like alot of public land here in north texas has become. Try checking out lake alan henry, alot never heard of the public land there because its not owned by one of the traditional controlling authorities, TPWD, river authorities or national forest service, but rather the city of lubbock owns it. You might also check any close state parks, golf courses and airports, yes there are often golf courses and airports that do population control hunts that no one ever talks about.

        If you look there are only a few counties in west.
        But this area is huge so, there should be plenty of room.


        But there is no deer hunting in pub.
