    Fishing Light

Renting a canal house in Galveston in a few weeks. I want a light to fish at night. What is better- underwater, work light on the dock etc and what is the best brand?

First time I ever used lights at night to fish, I went to Harbor Freight and got their halogen shop lights for $35. Worked great.

        50$ for the setup
They are bright as heck and the tripod is very adjustable

This is a good deal for par64 set up. Mine is similar. Run 2 1k watt lights.

          Good times

The 1k watt Par 64 very narrow spotlight bulbs are what you want. That is a good deal on those lights. You're not going to do better than that.

What wattage are they? I'm in the market for something similar?

Check the restrictions where you are staying. Some canal communities only allow underwater lights. Also check whoever owns the house. May be lights already there.
