Shipping cost for a lion mount?

Anyone had this done by Ceva Logistics for any type of mount? Taxi will build the crate. Cat is coming from Tucson to Santa Rosa Beach, Fl. 1663 miles.

This would be an impressive TBH express. Bump for ya.

I'm just trying to figure out how much it will save me to have it shipped. If I drive to Arizona I'll probably shoot another one!

I had a black bear and elk mount( horns removable) done out of state , when the taxidermist called and gave me the quote for shipping it was cheaper to drive to Colorado Springs and pick them up then to ship them to Houston , hopefully you have a better experience than me
        On shipping

I would fly out and rent a small UHaul van back

I had my lion mounted in Canada and it was only $250 to have it put on a plane and shipped to DFW airport! Then again it took half a day to clear USFW and customs. :-). Then again, that was 20 years ago. I would go the UShip route as well. Someone will piggy back it on a larger load.

This ^^^^^^. You may even get one of those hot chicks on the Shipping Wars show to deliver it.

There's a couple shipping companies that specialize in hauling mounts. Let me try to find the contact info

Should be able to crate it and do a LTL shipment. Can’t be cheaper to drive out there with lodging, gas, and the time.
