DIY Firepit Area

I just put in a firepit area in my backyard. It was more work than I originally thought, but I am pretty happy with the finished product.

I dug down 6”, layer of landscape fabric, added 4” of compacted 610 crushed limestone rock, added an inch of sand, set the pavers with a rubber mallet, locked it all together with polymeric sand brushed in the cracks on top.

That is really nice, and glad you are happy with it. That does look like a lot of work, but the important thing is that you already have a chair pulled up handy and just need to start putting that firepit to good use. Outstanding, wish I had one like it.
