    Military Grade Road Feeder!!!

    Hello,

I was tired of corning the roads "by-hand" while riding out to my stand. I wanted a good Road Feeder for a Good Price, but decided it would be more fun and CHEAPER to build one myself. This is what I ended up with.......

Will try to add more pics later

Large Ammo Box from Military Surplus Store: $17
Push Button Switch w/ wire from Home Depot: $6
Used Feeder Motor and Bolts: $FREE (i had an extra laying around)
    Camo Spray Paint: $5
Misc Items (wire, alligator clamps, ect): $5
Satisfaction of making my own equipment: PRICELESS

                            More Pics!

Here are more pics that I took this last weekend. It holds 50#s of corn and has about 1ft of ground clearance with me sitting on it. I should have mounted it a litter higher. I might do that next time I get a chance. I forgot to mention that the road feeder is "self-sustained" meaning it gets power from a 6V rechargeable Moultrie battery I installed inside of it (see pic). I hang it on the rear rack with two small brackets. They only had 3 of these ammo cans at the army surplus store I went to, I dont think they are very common. I kinda remember the sales person saying it was for magazines, but not really sure. You could easily fit 1000 rounds of .30 cal in it though! Thanks to all for viewing!
