Well. Sig being Sig, they were kind enough to include pre-stripped hex screws on my brand new 365XL. After some research this seems to be a regular occurrence. Anyone have any tips or tricks or have had success with getting these out? From what I’m reading it seems my best option may be to send my brand new pistol in for warranty work to get new screws, but I’d like to avoid that if possible.

Mine was the same way. I tried a screw extractor and didn’t have any luck. I still haven’t gotten around to calling Sig. I need to get on that this week.

Yep. Thirty seconds messing with it and knew it’d end badly if I kept at it. Took it to the gunsmith (Blackjack in Austin) and got it back good to go with a Swampfox Sentinel installed.Comment

Just got off the phone with Sig. They’re supposed to be sending me a shipping label to send off the slide and the optic for them to drill out the screws and install the optic for me.
