SXS Trails around Red River and Angel Fire

Heading out next week for a few days around Red River/Angel Fire. What are some good trails to ride and what are the rules and regulations with permits for out of state UTV’s in New Mexico?

I believe you have to buy a $ 20 permit. You can’t take it on just about any public land, forest trails. Trails will be posted in not allowed. Just pick up a forest map

Goose lake for sure. There are a couple others too been a few years since I rode up there. Was a pretty awesome time.

Take note on fire restrictions and other notices for the area.
Hoping they got some of the beneficial rain we did this weekend but it is dry, be careful.
