Well, Orange rolled out the red carpet last night for the guys and thieves took advantage of a ripe situation. They got 15 in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express last night. I would think that the hotels or even the city would provide extra security?

Bad problem. Until the wheels of justice and public opinion favor Law Enforcement it will get worse. The correct Law Enforcement response now is wait long enough to take a report. What do people expect with Defund, monday morning quarterback, slow motion watching an incident saying what should have been done- the list goes on. Why would you confront a suspect when you can just wait and take a report?

Most yards will not take converters that can be identified. Yes some will...........

I sold my '94 buick for "Running scrap" for $400. It had already been rear-ended and totaled by my insurance for an "uninsured driver" who hit me. We had setteled over it. I drove it till it wouldn't drive no more. The feller that came and paid me then crawled under it to look at the converter. Crawled out and said "Dang, you replaced it! That is what I wanted off the car before I parted it out!" I had the $400 in my pocket. We had already settled the deal. I had heard converters were a thing. But didn't know what he was after.



Lesson: Use an after market converter for replacement, not OEM. Mine cost me $125 to have replaced once, so it would pass inspection.
