Menard/Mason/Brady 2019-2020 season

I saw much the same at my Kimble county lease. Well above average antlers but low body weight. I suspect they will swarm the corn feeders in early now season but the meat will be very lean.

Makes sense, we are not far from the Kimble/ Menard county line

Was out there last weekend. Saw a lot of deer and even managed a limit of dove. It was dry. Water sources will be key this year.

Very dry, birds were flying a couple weeks ago. A few of us managed limits as well.

Last weekend was dry with deer cleaning up the corn. Managed limits of dove for everyone both days there. Noticed the acorns are starting to fall too, hopefully we can get some wind and rain! oh yeah Menard is getting another restaurant as well, this one is Mexican too

Neighbors pulled the cards and had a stud axis on camera. I will be pulling mine October 5th so i hope to have some pics for the thread.

Rain right now would hurt your chances of seeing a mature buck at your feeder. Some rain is needed for the health of the herd but I would rather get my buck first.
