We will be on the Sargent surf near the east barge landing in the morning. If anyone sees a white excursion, stop in and say hi!

Three full limits of trout and redfish. All real close, casting from the sand most of the time.

Had three bulls turned back as well. Caught another 4 trout after we boxed these, plus another slot as we were pulling the rods in.

Back at it again in the morning!

Start 'em young. I tell folks I'll take them fishing as soon as they are out of diapers and can find a pfd that will fit them.

That is a 100% fact. My girl has seen more fish filleted and deer skinned than some grown men. Lol. And I make it a point to include her in it as much as I possibly can.

We are going to Mustang Island State park next weekend. I am not a fisherman (fresh or saltwater.) But I am intrigued! Been watching some videos on youtube on surf fishing. Planning to hang out on the beach next weekend and do some fishing. I am interested in catching something we can eat, but anything is a bonus really. Any simple advice for a beginner?

We have lashed everything down and are praying we donít need to use the insurance! The spaghetti models have it all over the place so itís anyoneís guess. I plan to wait until after lunch and decide if we need to grab what we can load in the truck and hook up to one of the boats? Hopefully it will remain a tropical storm and just dump some rain!!! Yíall be safe

Save the skiff!!! Looks like its coming in right between us. This is the bad part of having a place on the coast but I'll take it. The good still out weighs it. On my way to rescue my Jon boat. Hope your property comes through it ok.

Great video of my nephew and I as we drift a flat in West Matty and come across a giant school of reds. Video starts off a little slow but we end up hammering them. I'm doubled up at 1 point holding 2 different rods. Good times, excuse some language.

As will most people. Iím the exception. Iíll move on if thatís all thatís around. I donít mind them id theyíre mixed in with trout but I donít target them or care much to catch them. But I know Shane was in high on the hog there. Thatís whatís great about fishing, we all have different versions of what is awesome to us.

I took some cool videos of reds coming down the shore last Saturday. I don't know how to put em on here. It's been a redfish year for sure.

It was bubba. By far the biggest school I've ever seen in West. We got lucky and just happen upon them.

I look for it to be better for a shorter period of time. This will flush em out sooner than a drawn out fall. It was looking real good prior to this, I hope it stays good.

I'm supposed to be fishing a tournament in POC later this week and we're still a go. My only real question is should I chase the reds at the sand dunes or in Victoria. Gonna be so many options
