I'm very sad to say that Mindy and I are going to miss another one because the date doesn't work with other plans we've made. We'll be thinking of y'all, though. And we'll look for pictures and updates!

Or maybe tell them your crawfish identify as mini-lobsters.

I am not able to work the room block.

I am having a very difficult time getting in touch with the Holiday Inn Group Sales person. It is not the same person I dealt with before that was VERY helpful. We never got a price break with the block, in the past...just a hold on a certain number of rooms for a specific time period. So..I think I am wasting too much time trying to make this happen and rooms are available now.... let's just get this going.

Just across the street from the park, there is

Holiday Inn Express & Suites
Bryan - College Station
3041 Plaza Centre Court
Bryan, Texas 77802
979-703-4774

Hilton Garden Inn
3081 University Drive East
Bryan, Texas 77802
979-703-7919

Candlewood Suites
3021 Plaza Centre Ct,
Bryan, TX 77802
(979) 704-6198

The Holiday Inn (who I was trying to deal with) has always been a bit more tolerable of our group and is less expensive then The Hilton. I will be booking our rooms here. Rates start at $85.

I have given a couple more options for those that want something a little different, or to escape the after partiers. There are also several more hotels in the near vicinity.

I've been trying to get to one for years and baseball usually interferes. I don't think we have a game that Sturday so I'm going to make my first one unless something happens. Have yall ever had any friendly archery competitions at these or is it mainly, cooking, eating, and just hanging out?

Oh and do I need health insurance to attend?

Unfortunately, the park doesn't allow us to shoot....this is more of a hang out, cook, eat, and talk some smack kind of event

Health insurance not required, but always encouraged

...only thing we are allowed to "shoot" if typed out, the swear filter catches!

It's a dang Gubment park... what more do you expect...

But the "shooting" is still heavy and great and the food is even greater!! Come on down!!
