I like the sound of that. The stand and fill I bought last fall was jacked up in 2 weeks by coons. They strip out the solar panel wires and pull the leads off the battery.

I haven't been thrilled with mine to be honest. I got some feeders going this weekend and my all seasons varmit guard hinges were rusted solid and froze up. I will try to get some oil on them this weekend to free them up but afraid they will break from the welds if I try to open the feeder cage door any further.

FYI for anyone interested in these feeders just got off the phone with manager at Buccees in Waller and they got 12 of the feeders in today.

She also said these things are selling like hot cakes.

Got mine today in Waller. Still had a good amount.

Like stated the access door to the timer/battery isnt the greatest, but for $400 I am pretty happy with it.

I'm going to go this route too.

What are you guys doing to fix the door to close tight and keep wasps out of this thing?

I WILL have some of these!! Been wanting to convert to Stand and fill and THIS is the ticket! I can't build 'em for that.

The wing nut on mine will keep it closed pretty tight so haven't had issues. Not the easiest but I hope to not have to get in there too often
