Help me out because I can't find the numbers to support your claim.

Fisher in first 3 years at A&M is 26-10 or .722.
If we go into the 4 the year at A&M he is 31-12 or .721

Herman went 32-18 in 4 years at tu or .640.
If we go only first 3 years at tu (to match Jimbo's when he was given the raise pre-season) he was 25-15 or .625

Am I using the wrong source?

Scuttlebutt says the new LSU president has inserted himself into the hiring equation (and may actually be "leading" the search). As the first black LSU president, there is heavy speculation that he wants to leave a legacy of hiring LSU's first black head coach. It might be worth moving some money toward Tucker or Franklin.

I'm sure Woodward values the input, but I can't imagine it would sit well with him if he was directed by the school president to make a specific hire.

Woody is from Baton Rouge.
This is Woody’s first football coach that he will be hiring at LSU.
Woody knows his job and reputation depends heavily on this hire.
Woody has his marching orders in hand given to him by his handler$$$.

Chances are slim to none.

LSU may hire a black coach. Hopefully it will be for his credentials. Not the color of his skin.

It would be really exciting but I doubt Bedlam will be between undefeated teams. On Saturday OSU is going into it's third road game as an underdog - unranked Iowa State is favored by 7 right now in Vegas. I'm not sure OSU is the 8th best team in the country and recent betting lines show that opinion is widespread. Defense is very solid but their rather spotty offensive performance (especially at QB) keeps the doubters doubting.
