I have a couple of questions? How did you know it was him were they in the same pen together? Do deer with long 2s not do the same thing. It sounds like you're well studied going to A&M and know so much. Some deer are really passive and some are not. Such a blank statement really shows how much you really know. I'm going to be lucky to have a deer left when I get back.

          Brow Tines!!!

So what’s that preferred length of brow tine to shoot or not? 0-3” is good to let walk, 4” plus shoot on sight? You know for the safety of the other deer. Inquiring minds want to know.

Well my buddy in East Texas made a huge mistake. He let this one grow up a few years ago and the dam thing grew 12 inch 1s. I believe by the time he was shot, the deer was completely alone in that pasture... killed everything for miles.

Deer had 6 or 7 inch brows when he was young. Obviously should have been shot as a 2 yr old with those daggers... I mean who wants to shoot a 170 inch LF East Texas deer anyway?

Just so we are clear 4-7 7/8” brow tines are safe, but anything 8” and over must be killed? For the safety of the other deer.

Maybe we should contact TPWD and see about getting a browtine rule like a lot of states out west?

LMAO! My apologies... this one obviously escaped from somewhere else! No way in hell ETx has big deer.

I thought everybody knew browtines were dangerous. I have successfully skimmed my herd down to no brows. I think I have 1 or 2 that have slipped thru the cracks, but they better not show their face.
