Bring it. Ill stage you as a blocker next year...if youre still game. Practice running shots and tune some heavy arrows.

I heard several stories about arrows not penetrating or even bouncing out of pigs this hunt.

I only found out it wasn't a feral cock after I had already choked it and slit it right under the head

I think it be appropriate to mount this sign at Taylor Whataburger.

Im gonna look into getting a keg from Texas Beer Co in Taylor for next year. The King Grackle is good but the Bill Pickett Porter is pimplicious.

GRXH warrants it own tribute brew. Ill petition some local brewers.

My GRXH 2020 top 6 list and the pics I snapped.

                1. No one seems too concerned about eating
                2. If you like your boat, leave it at home
                3. Lonestar beer stock spikes during GRXH
                4. Too much moonshine= fire walking
                5. Hogs are Olympic swimmers
                6. My ribs are bruised after the rope broke on paintman's boat and I fell on the boat seat.

                See yall next year.

How much effort was actually put into hunting?

I'm sure navy chief gave the fish all out effort.

No other pigs, squirrels, rabbits? Y'all getting soft or what?

I was absolutely amazed that in the three hrs I dedicated to hunting I did not spot a single wild animal. I even went diving to spot some fish. Nada. Now if you were huntin some alcohol you didn’t even have to leave camp!!

That's a trend that's been growing. Lots of fire tenders and wrestlers, not a lot of hunting.

I usually do my best to bring in ice chests of fish and the occasional turtle or squirrel.

I hunted more than I did in previous years.

Which means I missed a good bit of food....

Kaylee and I put in some miles Friday and Saturday. Leaving the stick bow at home next year. Had two good chances that I blew with not leading by 10’.

Thanks. Need all the help I can get. Gonna go try my crossbow spot in the morning with my used new to me compound. I am using slim taper light arrows as I am set low power due to getting wimpy age and prior ouches. Feeling good and grouping very well close up. Got some heavy artillery if I pump the pounds back up. Or just take the crossbow and hunt with a bolt. All fun. Thinking I love the light compound adventure put down for a Longgggg time. Can actuality walk and stalk without 10 lbs hanging on me. About 250 rounds practice so maybe can hit a 50 gallon drum at 2 yards. All jokes aside, I'm gonna kill a hog and a rattler and a squirrel and hopefully not any ones rooster so I hear entertained a few at the shindig.
