Well, had 3 does and 2 fawns come in with 20 minutes of legal light left. Watched 2 does fight. The loser started snorting in an attempt to get the 2 others to run off. Never had a shot opportunity.

Will be back at it in the morning.

Settled in at 6.15. Had deer blowing downwind before shooting light already. A little foggy and the feeder is about to throw.

Well that stinks. Had a doe at 10 yards. Drew on her and my bow or something touched the blind (low roof) and of course she bolted.

It is going to be hard to recover from that one. In my mind, I had her on ice in the cooler. She came in and never looked my way. Slightly quartered away. Head up and looking away. All I needed was to be 1" closer to the window. The back of my limb tapped a rafter.
