Left eye dominance and right handed

I'm right handed, but seriously left eye dominant. I've always shot my bows while squinting, or even closing entirely my left eye.

For the past few weeks, I have been trying to force myself to shoot with both eyes open. It was a real struggle at first, but after a few days I seemed (thought I was) to be getting a handle on it.

BUT (there's always a but you know), every now & then, that left eye will creep up on me, and take over without me even knowing it, and I'll shoot wide (real wide) right when it does.

I give up. Back to closing that left eye.
Don't try to fix it, if it ain't broke.

I shoot left when the left eye takes over. Not right.

My eyes must have been crossed when I typed that.

I'm told it's easier to shoot with the weak hand than the weak eye.

I shot RH up to my teenage years with an eyepatch over my left eye. But when I purchased a LH bow to try out it was a game changer. I'm RH but now only shoot LH. Took some time but I was young enough it was an easy switch. Couldn't make the same move nowadays lol
