Canon guys - 30d question

Hey fellas - I have a Canon 30d that has been in mothballs for a couple of years. I know it's old and out of date, but it is what i have. I finally have time to get back into taking some shots. After having been laid up for awhile, i can't get the camera started. I've charged batteries, bought new batteries, etc. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions to get the thing going? Is there some internal battery i'm not aware of? Since it's digital i can't figure out why it shouldn't operate. Trying not to have to buy a new body. Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks so much~

Sounds like the board or the battery door. I just looked on KEH.com and you can buy a used 30d or 40d for under $20, they even warranty their used gear
