Never Seen This Before…new kinda corn thief!

Been running trail cams for nearly twenty years and I’ve never caught this before. This particular buck has made a habit of going vertical to get some additional hooch!

The really funny thing is that we have a coon who is frequently there at the same time…new meaning to “cross functional” teamwork [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Hope he doesn’t do it when the feeder goes off. Lol

I have never witnessed it either. But, my son saw a young buck doing it a couple of weeks ago at his stand.

Yep, seen it a bunch of times. I put cages on all my feeders now.

I would shoot him before he teaches all the other deer to do it too

I had a doe doing this. She doesn’t do it anymore.

Seen it a few times. The one that cracked me up years ago was when my hunting truck died early one morning square in the middle of my food plot, due to a plugged fuel line. I just knew my hunt was ruined.. To my surprise shortly after daylight, a wad of deer, bucks and does, were eating the corn off of the spinner plate of my road feeder.. At that point I realized that we try way to hard hunting these deer...

I had a couple of muledeer does that did that years ago. I thought it would be pretty neat to shoot one while they where standing on its hind legs. I don’t know where their vitals are located when in this position, but it ended in about a 3/4 mile blood trail with no recovery.
