It's a simple cycle. Not held accountable so they don't care. Heck my sister was heading to a casino and had to wait outside the courthouse for her friend who was inside declaring bankruptcy LOL. It's insane.

I saw a local (Beaumont, Port Arthur area) television news article yesterday about a woman who was struggling to find basic food like bread for her children. She lives in the same city that I do. I went to Walmart yesterday and the shelves were completely full of bread and as far as I could tell, every other item. The fresh vegetable section was overflowing. This woman however was……

I can understand struggling with the price of food now but I have not seen any shortage. Even better, the shelves are full of paper towels and toilet paper.

More fake news. They find a store where the bread truck had a flat and go take pics of the shelves.

Seems like one off stuff missing when I go to the store. I eat cereal about once a year and got a wild hair for some frosted flakes. HEB didn't have any flakes or the next 5 or 6 cereals I was willing to eat. Ended up with some heb brand rice krispies. That and Lime Topo Chico at Sams are the only things I've noticed.

There’s been some crazy news stories recently that might have an effect on us.

                            1. Israel culling basically their entire poultry farm population due to the bird flu.

                            2. A kind of swine Ebola has been found in Europe. Don’t know yet if it’s going to spread or not.

                            3. A case of mad cow disease was found in Canada on a farm.

These could be nothing burgers, or they could continue to complicate our supply chain issues. Only time will tell, but world wide the food supply chain problems only seem to be getting worse and not better.

Popeyes chicken had cut half their menu today when I went by. I've seen empty to thinly stocked shelves numerous times over the last few months.
