A buddy built my pedestal. It's 34" I think, and the horns top out just under 7'.

The base has wheels so it can be moved around pretty easily.

Wall pedestals are 80% of my animals. Floor space is tough to give up for me. My ceilings are 28' in this area however.

Wall pedestals are a great way to go on most any animal mount, IF you have the ceiling height to do so. Floor pedestals do take up a lot of floor space but are a great addition to a trophy room if you have the space.

The Kudu in post #7 was on a wooden rolling base, but we moved and the ceiling height in my trophy room loft would not allow the base under the Rock, so this is how it sits. Most do not know it was on a wooden base to begin with.

Go with a floor pedestal for that animal. I did one for my Red Stag and I love it. That’s an animal of a lifetime and having it eye-level in a room does it way more justice than up on a wall.
