Clem Mikeska’s BBQ is ok and the taxidermy in there by itself is worth the stop.

Millers or Schoepf’s just down the road in Belton are top notch BBQ

Not sure if it's still there or not as this was many years ago, but Jody's used to make the best CFS and onion rings.

Go to old Jody’s. It’s on first street, down from the VA. Have cash... no plastic or checks. Nice old place with good service.

Pizza wings and things, or something like that. Been there once, good food and bar.

Since 1965, Clem and Family have been serving some of the best, made from scratch Bar-B-Q and Steaks in the state of Texas. Visit any 3 of our Texas locations.

                Order the white wings!

They used to be served at a Mexican place but have since been reborn here.

It was fantastic. Next time I’ll get a burger. Went CFS this time and it was as good as they come.

I know this is old but for future trips to Temple, if you're in the mood for pizza you gotta go to Italiano's. It's cheap pizza by the slice that tastes far from cheap and the portions are big.

Pignetti's is supposed to be good. I haven't been there, but my wife's aunt knows the owners. She says it's good.
