    Best time to hunt Aoudad

Got a year round lease out in Terrell county that will have Aoudad on it. What’s best time of year to try and kill one? September be a good time to try and kill one?

Have a rut hunt booked on the Devils' River in September. Hope that's the best time.

This right here ^^^. I have noticed here recently with the drought they are on there feet a bunch right now. Hitting the feed way more than normal for this time of year.

We kill more from January through March. They are much easier to spot when the laves are off the trees.

Thanks for the replies every one. Sounds like mid to late September shouldn’t be to bad then. And if I don’t get one then will start back up again in early March if I can’t find one during deer season.

I will keep that in mind for sure. If I am getting my butt kicked locating them or scrounging one up will let you know.
