After 33 years of cranking wrenches, I retired yesterday. After all those years of getting up at 4:30am, I decided to sleep in today, I got up at 5.

. Ready to start spending more time with family and our baby granddaughter.
Had a fishing trip planned to Sabine today but rained all day. Headed to beach tomorrow to meet a new family member.
Have some bucket list trips in the works but my first trip is to Cabela's to pick out my Citori. So I'm joining you fellas that are living the retired life. Salud!

I chased all kinds of animals all across the county today and have worked harder at my new position than I have in many many years. Lol today I sat and thought how wonderful it will
Be to retire…….in another 15 years LOL.

At least I’m not chasing humans anymore. There’s that!

I left the Chemical industry last July. Took me awhile to reset my body from working shift work all those years but now it's very nice to be on a normal schedule.
I lucked into leasing a nice ranch and the owners are keeping me busy with projects. Funny how working at the ranch does not feel like work.

Congratulations. I gave up wrenching 1 1/2 years ago and other than some medical issues it’s been great. Sometimes I work harder than I ever did on the job but the difference now is I get to do it at my own pace.
