Default Looking for Pre workout suggestions

I started back to CrossFit after missing most of last summer. I tried a pre workout by Steel products. (I forgot which one though) it did ok, but Iím hoping to find something that will help a little. Iím trying to go 3 times a week, and running a mile or so after each workout. What do yíall like to use?

N.O. Explode - use only if you have no heart issues and want to feel like you could tackle a rhino. Probably start with 1/4 serving size first time and dose accordingly thereafter. You will likely feel "flush" with the higher dose of niacin. Read warnings and instructions.

My son is a fitness trainer full time. He will tell you that if you eat good you don’t need supplements. Also, he would recommend what was recommended above - coffee. He says all the pre workouts are just a lot of sugar and caffeine. That is all he does is train clients and compete in powerlifting meets. I hope that helps you out!

BPN products are good they take out a lot of the filler out like artificial coloring etcÖ and itís a local company in the Austin area.

If you want to go the coffee route Costco brand cold brew has a good bit of caffeine and comes in individual cans.

My guess is 99.9% of "supplements" are snake oil.

Eat right, exercise, get good sleep and pray you have good genetics.

Most are loaded with nothing but garbage and caffeine. I've tried tons. Last several years I just go between Blackmarket Cuts, Redcon 1, and Iprevail.

Also- MRE lite is an amazing and affordable clean protein.

Just inject some test once a week and some woke pre workout before each work out, drink a lot of water, eat right, and lots of protein.

Only suggestion I have is watch the amount of caffeine in it. Too much and a raunchy WOD is a bad combo. It will come back up the top side mid workout.

I really like Mtn Ops Yeti. Doesn’t have quite as much caffeine as others and is sugar free.

Never woulda guessed folks use coffee so much. I wake up. Eat breakfast. Drink 2-3 cups of copy. Dispose of breakfast. And hammer my workout out. Guess I’m a pro after all

If Im doing crossfit style routine work its Iced black coffee before and a tablespoon of honey when I start to feel gassed. Not a fan of the brand named supplement stuff, not actually healthy.

They will get you high as balls though and make you power through a workout like a beast. Maybe I should grab a container lmao

It’s not garbage it works. Sometimes pumps can be a little much but that’s a good feeling too

Really depends on how hard you push your workouts. I can do weak workouts everyday without anything. If I go hard my energy takes a hit without it. That’s eating right as well

Yep. I only use it on the weekends, because I workout in the evenings and have a hard time sleeping afterwards, but I can definitely feel the difference. I am still ready to go after a normal workout.

Coffee will also help with protein uptake.

A simple tasty subligual B12 will probably save you alot of money and get your gears cranking just fine.

Iíve been using products by ďGhostĒ pretty good stuff and I donít experience any crash afterwards. If you like products with stimulants that make your skin crawl use the ďlegendĒ line if you want stimulant free use their ďpumpĒ line

After about 40 years of "exercising" you would be correct.

Coffee is the best pre workout you can take.

Yours is the best advice on the thread next to “eating right”. I would add not to take the whole 900mg Guarana caplet because its very slow release and you might not sleep !

Don’t do Guarana and coffee, give up coffee

Cocaine- if you want a good workout
Meth- if you want to workout for a couple days strait , but the crash is hard

coffee is probably the best " most natural" pre workout. after working in prisons and jails you I have see inmates drink room temperature or cold coffee before workouts. Its what they have, its cheap and it works.

Coffee for me is a no go. I canít even drink it the morning of and work out that afternoon lol itíll make an appearance mid workout one way or another lol

Bucked up has been good to me. C4 is my go to when Iím traveling and forget my pre at home. You can find it everywhere, and it doesnít tear up my stomach. Iíve probably paid a few of their bonuses of the last 10 years lol

Many folk don’t have the staying power in life because they go like hell and burn out. I’ve seen it in their work life too. They go out and make a bunch of money then ain’t got a pot to **** in at the end of the week. This is especially true for the self employed trash.

The human body is the same. Caffeine sources like Guarana release at a steady rate unlike coffee beans. Cocaine doesn’t carry you like the coca leaves do, Meth doesn’t work as good as Tylenol and Sudafed, Tequila being made from Agave has a slower breakdown of sugars, sweet potatoes break down different from potatoes.

You can eat food battered and fried in Avocado oil five meals per day and all it will do is make you healthier.

Be in it for the long haul, goodluck !
