Default Fawn sighting

Finally saw my first fawn this morning. Was getting a little worried because I thought I would’ve seen in earlier. I guess the Mamas had them hidden.

I saw my first one yesterday along my drive way. Seems later than in past years. Maybe it's the heat and dryness.

Yesterday I had a brand new one stumble across the road with its momma about a half mile from my house just outside of Corsicana in Navarro county.

They are cute little backstrap carriers. To answer someone’s question, I live in Montgomery.

I saw my first one of the year today. Mama left him across the street in front of me about 2pm. About the size of a long legged possum. He could run pretty well though.

I saw my first fawn on my place a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was dead. Could not have been more than about a day old either.

Jumped up several last Sunday in Comanche county while driving around my place. They were big enough to run away without being beside momma.

I saw a set of twins with their mom on the side of 2323 sw of Llano about 2 hours ago. They were older.
I saw a tiny new one at our ranch in P-town about a month ago.
The only 3 I've seen this year.

I think these are second rut babies. I saw fawns earlier and now there are a couple of new ones running around.

Just saw my first one of the year on my place in Young county. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was already a month old though. Haven’t seen any in camera yet.
