Haven't been there since the remodel but they had good food and a pretty nice atmosphere.. Doc's is good too but usually an hour wait to get seated. doc's and snoopy's are fun places to go after you've been to the beach for a while. it's your anniversary! Doc's is very hit or miss, and that's order to order. I've had some awesome food there, and I've had food that's not as good as gordon's frozen fish sticks. Snoopy's a fried fish and french fries. not bad food, but no AC either.
it's not "on" the water, but the republic of texas overlooks the bayfront and you can definitely see the water. very pretty views and the food is good. that's the place on the top floor of the Omni hotel. Yardarm is very good seafood too, but the republic is a nicer atmosphere.
