    Any idea what this is?

I can make out the butt of an animal that is partly in the way on the left and it looks like a couple more in the picture. The tall, swept horns should give a clue as well as dark lower legs but I have no idea.

              It is "what's for dinner"

bet it's your neighbors or someone close. Looks expensive.

Horns look really thin and smooth for an ibex, could it be a cow sable?

I don’t think it’s an ibex. I’m not sure what it is though.

I would throw a vote in the Sable-ish arena. As said above, LDPs!

Body markings look like a gemsbok but they have straight horns. Horns are shaped more like a scimitar oryx.

                        I’m thinking sable.

as thin as the horns are at the end rule out a sable for me but it is hard to tell.

This is 6 miles south of Lampasas, really not noted for a lot of exotics. I bought this place, 223 acres, about 2 years ago and there was a very tame white fallow on here then. I have gotten trail cam photos of one small axis buck and an aoudad. Hopefully I'll get more pictures of what ever this is as well.
