    Finished product
I put a flat roof on this one. Not as good as a octagon hip roof but quicker to do. This blind is 6 feet across and 80 inches tall. I'm building one now that is 8 feet across with a walk through door. Ill get some pics if anyone wants to see.

How much did the supplies cost if you dont mind my asking. I might want to build one of those...

I'm really glad you posted this - I've been doodling plans for an octagon blind - yours is first class. What type of sheet goods did you use for the panels? Doesn't look like plywood - something lighter?

              Lets see.....
plywood look looks like cabinet grade
nice shop equipment - Table saw, Band Saw, vacs attached
              mad skills using them

I would guess that ya'll do cabinet / woodworking for a living...

I always envied good carpenters! I could build it but it would NOT look like that!

I would have to pay someone to build me that.

The panels are made with 1/4 " Luan plywood about 9 bucks a sheet. I ran it cross grain on this one to save $, I usually run it up and down. I primed it with a mobile home roof coating then painted real good. I made four others about three years ago and fiberglassed over the plywood. They also have sliding aluminum windows that work really nice, especially on cold rainy days. Ill try to get some pics of them this weekend, they blend in well in the oaks.

                            excellent craftsmanship........

How much time did it take you to paint the camo? Is that spray paint?

                              Paint

The paint is put on with a 5" roller. If you put some black paint in one side of the tray and white in the other side.( don't matter if they run together) Put one side of the roller in one color then the other and go to rollin. It just takes a few minutes.
