Well, he got what he asked for:

https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/w...er-s-game-plan

Asked about it Sunday evening, Prescott sounded defiant. Rather than the thought of being figured out, he focused instead on the extensive list of miscues on the Cowboys' end of things.

"I hope teams play us like this for the rest of the year, to be honest," he said. "This was just not a great game by us, this wasn't who we normally are, and as I said, we're going to learn from it."

considering the injuries going into the game and how awful they played they really did not get whipped. Still 7-3.

National Championship, another appearance, a couple Rose Bowls mixed in.

Really?

The Cowboys have won less than 5 playoff games since 95.

I'm not making excuses because I know KC dominated the game...pretty much.

And, I saw the face mask on the side line. I also did not see a flag for it, but I was expecting to see one.
Later, they saw it, according to the announcers, on the replay screens.

I just don't recall a penalty being called when there was no flag thrown no hat either.. I've seen plenty of penalties that have been shown on replay screens but not added on.

Question; has anybody seen a penalty added without a flag thrown on it?

well, I have seen it on Intentional Grounding, but that is just to make sure someone concurs on outside of pocket and beyond line of scrimmage. It's not an after thought tho.

Just another new way to screw up the already awful officiating. The NFL is the worst officiated pro league there is, and it gets worse with every year.

Who knows!!! You used to be able to hit folks hard in football.
It sure has changed.
My dad is 87. He doesn't watch much football at all. He is with us this weekend and watched the game. He said to me. This sure doesn't look like football to me.

Cowboys best get their O-line issues fixed if they want to compete. Lots of injuries but all teams have injuries. They should not be using injuries as excuses.

Hope they smoke the raiders for thanksgiving.

Staying healthy is part of every successful teams formula. .. gotta have a lot of skill and a lotta luck in the injury department. Thereís a reason the starters are the starters..

One on each side sureÖ 3-4 on a side. 2/3rds of your Dline.? Your top two receivers and your HOF left tackle? That can be tough to overcome. Next man up is the right mentality and itís easy to say injuries arenít an excuse but the talent of the next men up isnít that of the starters or theyíd be starting here or somewhere else. You deal with what you can deal with

^^^ I hear you on the staying healthy but I am pretty sure all teams have injuries… I don’t like the O-line without Smith. He is not what he used to be but the rest of the guys just seem to collapse when he is out. Dak, like most other QB is going to be marginal at best under sustained pressure….

yeah, it's OK at best when you have a gorilla OLine and lots of talent to make it functional.
Way too vanilla and the schemes don't seem "modern".

Jason Garrett fired today by the Giants. Sad that it took Jerry 14 some odd years to figure out what it took the Giants two years to find out.

Injuries are much harder on teams who draft poorly, and try to pay too many vets....and the Cowboys are the poster child for that. All those flyers on injured draft picks, and bad contracts to non-optimal positions absolutely kill depth.

I think they are the 7th most injured team in the NFL, and 5 of those starters are stars at their positions, not too many can overcome that, as a matter of fact if it had not been for good drafting they would not have had the depth to get them to 7-3 in the first place. That was a shot at Dale lol, will not get into the contract thing.

Not sure if they will stack the line but I think they have a very strong pass rush especially from the ends. So they are going to bring pressure. The key for this game and moving forward is can the O-line for the Cowboys give Dak a bit of time & room?? And will the receivers be able to quickly beat their defenders?

What is this 7 out of 9 starters? And of the two non-starters, Cox is the 3rd down LB for VDE. In the world of free agency it don't make a **** how you draft (even though the Cowboys have done well the past few years), losing that many starters is going to hurt the team.

The #Cowboys will be without the following players in Week 12:

Amari Cooper

CeeDee Lamb

Blake Jarwin

Demarcus Lawrence

Randy Gregory

Neville Gallimore

Brent Urban

Jabril Cox

Donovan Wilson
