Trad....blind help
04-19-2020, 03:43 PM
I’m gonna start on my blind this week, how tall should the inside height be from the floor to ceiling, I will be sitting in a chair, shooting a recurve, not a long bow.
Thanks

My box blind is 7 ft tall inside. I like to be able to stand and shoot if needed.
Have killed from 5 feet away to 18 yards. I prefer 5ft.

The last one I built was 7’ at the front, and 6.5’ at the back. That made a good slope for the roof, and there is plenty of room inside!!!

7 ft is nice.
If I were to build another wood blind I would make it 8 feet tall.
Lets cuts and less wasted wood unless your studs are 1 foot apart.

Bisch, do you have any pictures of the inside of that blind. Maybe the other dimensions?
