Default Snowy hunts

My weather thread seemed to draw some interest in hunting in the snow so post up your snowy hunt pics if you have them.
I'll start with a few, all in Wyoming, but we have had a cold snowy hog hunt down in Texas one year.

My 2020 Elk hunt the first week of Sept. We had 24" the 2nd day of the hunt and another 6" the next night. Were stranded in a outfitters tent with 3 other guys from Ohio for 3 days until the outfitter came up with horses.

Spent a day in NM looking for grouse. Pretty country but we didn't find any.

I have only gotten to a couple times. Loved it. I hate hot weather hunting.

Snow you say? I love hunting in snow. Tracking elk or mule deer through timber in deep snow with a rifle is one of my favorite hunts in the world.

October 2020 mule deer hunt in Colorado. Dumped on us overnight and my tent was on my face in the morning. Beautiful hunt and backstraps were brought home.

Eldorado last year I believe or maybe the one before. I took my stepson hunting. We had a good bit of snow on the ground. He got a management buck that weekend. We took a pic of the last patch before it had melted.

My first and only mule deer on some family land up in the panhandle. It only took 5 years to get one, but I finally connected during a snowy and icey hunt. The one picture was my view from a iced over deer blind window. He came in right at dark to munch on some apples and alfalfa I’d put out.
