Never really seen a deer eat like that. Get what they want and walk away and then back later for some more. They larger buck above visits our feeders about every 3-4 hours during the day and night with an 8 hour break mid-day.

Deer definitely eat cubes, but the cubes are so big, they wasted a lot. In my experience, watching them eat cubes, they take a cube and crunch it, about half of the cube falls out on the ground because their mouths aren’t big enough. Instead of grabbing the half a cube that fell out, they grab another whole one out of the feeder lol. Wind up with a bunch of waste on the ground

Not my experience at all. We have a high deer density, but 250 pounds of cubes are wiped clean within a week. In and around the troughs.

In pics of deer eating cubes, they always look to me like they are singing or trying to talk.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what are these "cubes" more specifically, what is the brand name? This looks like something I should try. TIA
