Had a very similar conversation with a friend of mine last week. He's very successful and told me that he's fed up with the "it must be nice crowd", many of whom are his lifetime friends. Those idiots forget that he dropped out of school in the 9th grade and has built several successful businesses through hard work, sacrifice and determination. I told him to reply the way I do, "you have no **** idea just how nice it is".

If you can't be happy for someone else's success, that says a lot about you.
