Finally one for the freezer.

Been a rough year so far. Not a single shooter buck to be seen in person OR on camera and two clean misses with the bow on does so I did the ethical thing and switched to a rifle but several hunts later and I still hadn’t got it done ...till this evening.

Its not nearly the thrill of bow hunting for me but at least I’ll enjoy some venison this year.

Good job Gunny. I had a few target does that were escaping my arrows and I too swapped to rifle... and done...whilst drinking coffee. I like the challenge of trad archery hunting but when there is a mission to accomplish....one mind any weapon.
